Privacy Policy for Kwinkle
Last updated: June 12, 2026
Overview
Kwinkle ("the App") is a tile-matching strategy game with optional online features (multiplayer, leaderboards). We collect the minimum data needed to make these features work — nothing more.
Data We Collect
If you play offline (solo vs AI)
Nothing leaves your device. Game progress, preferences, scores, and statistics are stored in local device storage only.
If you use online features (multiplayer, leaderboard, stats sync)
When you create a player profile, we store on our server:
- Username — a pseudonym you choose. It is shown publicly on leaderboards and to your multiplayer opponents.
- Device identifier — a random identifier generated by the App on first launch. It is not a hardware ID and not the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA). It only links your device to your player profile so you stay logged in without a password.
- Game statistics — games played, wins, scores, achievements, and match results.
We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information.
What We Don't Do
- No advertising networks are integrated
- No analytics or tracking SDKs are used
- No data is sold or shared with third parties
- No special permissions are required
Data Storage
Server data is hosted in the European Union (Paris). Data is retained for as long as your player profile exists.
Data Deletion
To delete your player profile and all associated server data, contact us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for all ages. Online play uses pseudonymous usernames only; we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
